ATO strives to develop coaching and mentoring relationships along multiple dimensions. From the moment you walk in the door, you are matched with a number of people who will support you. Mentoring is a key component in ATO’s rigorous pursuit to develop current and future leaders. This companywide program provides a number of new key components, including goal setting, scheduled meetings, and connecting mentors and mentees who are different from each other and may not meet through the normal course of business.
We go to great lengths throughout the year to ensure a meritocratic and unbiased system of rating and promoting our talent. Our expectation is that all employees receive direct, constructive and timely feedback on how they are performing. We combine multiple sources of measurement, including self appraisals, 360 degree peer feedback and manager/leader reviews, in order to provide employees with an adequate view of their performance.
One of the ways in which we can develop our people and our business is through internal mobility. Mobility enables our people to benefit from cross-regional, cross-product and/or cross-functional experiences, exposing them to varied work, team and client perspectives. Our employees regularly rotate within our 500+ offices getting experience across multiple regions of India and the world. In order to make such mobilities smooth, we often provide our employees with housing, moving costs and awareness programs to acquaint them to the new regions.
